Some of you may have heard and know kodak ektra as a camera made by Kodak in the mid 19th century. The company has re-introduced the name to brand its first smartphone as kodak ekta. As expected, the imaging company has optimized the phone for camera at 21 mega pixels primary camera and the front camera has 13 mega pixels in addition to fully android customized camera application.
The smartphone was launched in October 2016 shipped with quality specs: powered by 2.3Ghz Helio processor, 32GB internal storage and ample 3GB RAM. The dominant iphone, samsung and growing google pixel brands will definately consider the possibilty of sharing the market with the kodak ektra. Ektra is a fully featured smartphone with new tech addons of modern phones such as ambiet light, accelerometer and proxmity high quality sensors.
In terms of design, kodak extra retains the looks of the ekta camera. By dimensions, it measures 147.8mm by 73.35mm and a thickness of 9.69mm. Generally, kodak phone's size is larger than most phones with the same specs.
The first kodak ektra will be available at £449 December 2016, a price range of phones like iphone 7, htc M9 and Lumia 1020.
